Doctrinal Statement

We believe there is only one true God, eternally existing and revealed in three Person –FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT, the same in substance, equal in power and glory. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matt 3:16-17; Matt 28:19)

We believe Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35), was born of a virgin mother (Matt 1:23), and is very God (John 1:10) and very man (John 1:14).

We believe the death of Jesus Christ was sacrificial (Rom 5:8) and substitutionary (1 Peter 2:24, Isa 53:4-6). Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from among the dead (1 Cor. 15: 12-56) and He ascended bodily into heaven (Acts 1:9-11).

We believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead and His bodily ascension into heaven.

We believe in the personal (Acts 1:11) and imminent (Acts 1:6-7), coming of the Lord Jesus Christ in glory to receive His Church and to set up His Kingdom upon the earth. (Matt 25:30-31)

We believe that all men, by nature, are lost apart from Jesus Christ (Rom 3:23, Rom 6:23) and that salvation is by grace alone through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe in the personal abiding of the Holy Spirit in every believer. (John 16:7-11, 1 Cor 3:16)

We believe the Word of God, the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, to be the only authority of doctrine and duty, inspired and infallible. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:21, and Psalm 119:89)

We believe in one church, the Body of Christ, embracing all who are united in Christ by saving faith and Divine grace. (1 Cor. 12:13)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and un-just, the everlasting bliss of the saved and the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost. (John 5:28-29)

We believe there are two ordinances instituted by Christ, Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which are exhorted on all Christians (Matt 28: 19-20, and 1 Cor. 11:23-26).

In the years since the Lord first provided for the ministry of Bible Fellowship Church, the blessings of such a ministry have become more evident. Some of these blessings for which we must praise the Lord are:

  1. Freedom in an outreaching ministry as directed by the Holy Spirit through our people.
  2. Freedom to use the Lord’s money as the Holy Spirit individually directs.
  3. A personal growth of the believers by the freedom of exercise of spiritual gifts as directed by the Holy Spirit.
  4. A closer Christian fellowship of the believers in the Lord Jesus our Savior.

We trust that you will continue to pray with us that the Lord will care for all phases of the ministry so that the outreach may continue to expand, that many may be won to the Savior and that believers may be edified and grow in the Spirit.
